Cameron in DC

They had to wait a little at the airport but Grandma thankfully
brought stuff to do and he got all his work that he
was going to be missing at school
and did it all while they waited and on his
5 hour flight!

They had to run up this hill to make sure they saw the changing of the guard at the tomb of the unknown soldier. It happens every hour on the hour.

The last day they were there they toured the CAPITOL,
They were able to sit in the office of
Jason Chaffetz the Rep for UTAH

He said the Washington Monument was way cool! This picture is of his cousins Aunt, Uncle and Grandma.

Cameron was REALLY GOOD about calling home and telling us
how much fun he was having and called to say GOOD NIGHT every
night, Thank goodness for cell phones!!

He was really hoping to meet the PRESIDENT, my mother
in law tried to get a white house tour (since she is in city council)
but they still are not all organized for tours yet.

Grandma, Cameron and cousin Mitchell on the Metro!

Cameron got the chance to go to Washington D.C with Jeff's parents
and some of his boy cousins for 5 days!
He really liked it. I was a little nervous but not about D.C but about the
plane ride, even though he has rode on a plane once from Texas (alone, no parent just
another cousin his age) and to and from Florida, (alone again!) I just
have a thing about planes, oh well I will get over it!
He made it safely there and home. I told my father in law
to take a lot of pictures (you all know how I am about my pictures!) so
THANKS RICK!!!
