I am tired of sickness in my house!!
It seems like Brandon always gets sick and stays sick for a
long time so when he got a cough and cold
I did not think anything about it, but now it has been almost a MONTH!
I took him to the doc 3 weeks ago and he gave me antibiotics for his
eye infection but his cough has still been going strong.
I LOVE vicks vaporub and have been putting it on him every night
it helps with night time coughing but that is it.
Yesterday I took him took the doctor thinking he would tell me
that it was a virus but no he has
PNEUMONIA!!
When he was 1 1/2 he was hospitalized at primary childrens
for over 2 weeks and had to have a chest tube to drain all the
fluid on the outside of his lungs. He had to have a PIC line for 2 months after at home and I had to give him antibiotics through it twice a day.
So needless to say his lungs are weakened because of it and he gets
every sickness that goes around!
So when he said pneumonia I freaked!
He is on antibiotics and should be lots better in a few days!
I am just ready to disinfect my house and have summer be here!!!!

My kids have been sick for FOREVER!!!!!!!!! and I disinfect door knobs and toys daily!!!!!
Oh my gosh Jill, I didn't know he was sick like that when he was little. Wow! That must have been so hard! I would freak out. I have been washing everything in my house and spraying lysol like a mad woman for days. We are all feeling a little better and I want it to STAY that way. I hope your guy gets better soon!
I'm sorry he's so sick, Jill! Poor little guy, and poor mom!! hang in there!
