For those of you who REALLY know me I LOVE to have a nice, CLEAN house
and also love to have it decorated cute.
When we bought our house 5 years ago we had to gut and re-do almost everything
Example: sheetrock, tile, paint, re-carpet the WHOLE house,
new fixtures, new toilet, etc.
The only thing that we waited on was our Kitchen because it wasn't so
bad (yeah right!) and my dad does cabinets for a living so I had a hook-up!
Well 5 years later I still have my UGLY yellow counters/backsplash
and ugly dark wood cabinets.
The other day I was just sick of it and started pulling down my
backsplashes (by the way if you do this wear gloves this stuff is VERY sharp
my hands paid the price), so when my wonderful husband
gets home for work he walks into a disaster!
Thankfully he helped and did not complain much.
So my upper cabinets are sitting at my dads cabinet shop right now
waiting to be sprayed my beautiful new color!!!
Thanks to my brother who is doing my new countertops,
I will have a brand new kitchen!!
This is how I am living right now, I don't know howlong I can handle it but it will be SO worth it!!
My sister came over yesterday and was messing around with my paint:

When it is all done I will post a Before & After!

I love how you roll Jill. Boyd has come home many times to a complete re-do or a big to-do :) Can't wait to see the after, hope it's soon for your sanity .
