What I should have said is my kids should think their
MOM is the BEST!
We will be going on a 9 day Thanksgiving Vacation to Texas to visit my sister &brother in law and their kiddos. We are all so excited! WELL.... I am not excited for the 18 hr. drive with 6 kids & 5 adults (we are going with Jeff's sister, kids & his parents), yep that's right 15 passenger VAN Ya'ALL, It should be GRAND!
On the brighter side...
We will be leaving in the evening, that way HOPEFULLY the kids will sleep most of the night ,yep again we are driving straight through except for a few stops for some pee breaks and of course CAFFEINE!!
I am going to go see NEW MOON with my sis tonight, the 12:01am showing, I am SO excited ,even though I will be severly sleep deprived on friday, but so worth it!!
Anyways back to why I am the best...
I have packed, washed ,cleaned etc, everybody's stuff. The only thing that sucks about this is if anything is forgotten or I did not bring enough snacks, games etc for the ride it will be all my fault and that's all they will care about, not the hours I spent getting everyone ready! Now I guess I should pack myself! :)
To do still before we leave...
*Buy dog & cat food (our awesome friends are holding down the fort for us!)
*Get my nails filled
*Buy batteries for all our electronics we are bringing
*clean my house, yes I have to have my house clean when I leave :)
* New Moon
*Pick up Rental van
*Teach preschool
*go to the bank
*Pack all my stuff
So basically I am going to be CRAZY the next 2 days.
I hope you all have a Happy Thanksgiving!!
