I LOVE summer thunderstorms, my kids, not so much! A couple of years ago my kids and I walked to the park with my friend and her kids, it was a nice summer day, while we were enjoying our day and the kids were having fun playing we notice HUGE BLACK storm clouds rolling in so we decide to leave... well it came faster than we thought and we were caught on our way home in a freak microburst (it felt like a tornado, rain, wind, hail etc.), It was SO SCARY, hail was pelleting down on the kids and I as we I hovered over them as they were crying..
needless to say they HATE storms now,
and the kids and I had welts for days!!
I still love thunderstorms, this last week has been great, cooler temps, thunderstorms etc.
I was hoping that it was clear enough for us to go to seven peaks, and it was! Our orthodontist rented out all of seven peaks for their patients and family
( pay 4,000 dollars for braces, but get a free day at seven peaks?)

It was the first time Brandon had been, and Jeff hadn't been in a lot of
years, we had a BLAST!

I love the pictures of the slides! Those are great shots!! (I went on the big yellow one ONCE, and that is THE LAST TIME I'll ever do that. Way too scary for me!!)
